Key 8 by Marion Stanton
Key 8 is the latest in the Key Series devised By Marion Stanton. They are aimed at the AAC user who has fairly good cognitive skills but difficulty with access. Key 8 is an improvement on Key 6 as there is more flexibility to have command buttons in addition to vocabulary buttons on each page without making the individual cells much smaller. The focus is on spelling but there is an efficient word prediction system and there are pages for symbol based communication which can be further developed really easily using the auto content feature. You can contact us for more information at: contactcandle@btinternet.com
Key 8 Symbol Chat Mode by Marion Stanton
Key 8 Symbol Chat Mode is a development from Key 8 and is designed for AAC users who have some literacy skills to use for communication although there are a number of symbol based pages that can be developed for the symbol only user. Key 8 Word Processor Mode by Marion Stanton
Key 8 Symbol Chat Mode is a development from Key 8 and is designed for AAC users who have some literacy skills to use for communication. However, there is a good word prediction built in and there are pages for symbol based communication which can be further developed using the auto content function. The idea of Key 8 Symbol Chat is that the person who has a lot to say but limited movement can access a vocabulary with some ease. This version of Key 8 in the Key series also has a rest button on every page to support eye gaze and switch use. Key 8 Word Processor Mode is part of the Key Series which we have designed to support a group of AAC users who find a large number of cells on a page difficult to access. The number in the title denotes the number of cells that the vocabulary has on a page. A unique word prediction system is built in to the Key's 8, 12 and 24 enabling the user to find the word they want very quickly despite the need to navigate through letters that are bunched together. Key 48 is designed for the cognitively able AAC user who has moderate access difficulties so that a larger number of cells on a page present a problem. See our website: www.contactcandle.co.uk or email us at: contactcandle@btinternet.com
Key 12 Symbol Chat Mode by Marion Stanton
Key 12 Symbol Chat Mode is a development from Key 8 and is designed for AAC users who have some literacy skills to use for communication although there are a number of symbol based pages that can be developed for the symbol only user. This version of Key 12 in the Key series also has a rest button on every page to support eye gaze and switch use. See our website: www.contactcandle.co.uk or email us at: contactcandle@btinternet.com
Key 12 Word Processor Mode with eye gaze by Marion Stanton
Key 12 Symbol Chat Mode is a development from Key 8 and is designed for AAC users who have some literacy skills to use for writing although there are a number of symbol based pages that can be developed for the symbol writer to choose. This version of Key 12 in the Key series also has a rest button on every page to support eye gaze and switch use. See our website: www.contactcandle.co.uk or email us at: contactcandle@btinternet.com
Key 24 by Marion Stanton
Key 24 is a development from Key 48 and is designed for AAC users who have some literacy skills to use for communication although there are a number of symbol based pages that can be developed for the symbol only user. Key 24 is in the Key series which includes Key 8, Key 12, Key 24 and Key 48. See our website: www.contactcandle.co.uk or email us at: contactcandle@btinternet.com

LEANNA'S FULL GRID SETS - FOR USE WITH TOUCHSCREEN by louise smith
This is a full set of grids for use with touchscreen, each page has its own keyboard. Leanna is 18. This is a full set of grids developed for her over the past 10 years. Originally IDV grids on a Norand touchscreen, then Future pad, but now using Samsung notebook N110. See below the range of Grid 2 features we use. Wordlists - Leanna likes to work within topic pages. Each page is a wordlist linked to keyboard, so as Leanna's reading and spelling improves, she can type initial letters to narrow down word choice. I have used lots of features from other Sensory Grids and grid bundles posts by others on the site. I have been very appreciate of the ideas and work done by others. I hope you find some of the features we use useful to you too. There are gremlins and inconsistencies, but things get changed as needs change. I have downloaded another grid bundle for use with keyboard on computer/laptop
